Weekly Cubmaster Update – November 5th, 2018.

There are den meetings this Thursday (11/08/18) from 6:30-7:30.

 If you don’t hear from your den leader you may want to check in with them and see if you’re meeting.
Registration Fees and Den Dues

Registration fees are for returning scouts only. Your son is a returning scout if this is NOT your first year participating in scouting. If this is your first year participating in scouting, no matter what your scouts age is, then you are a new scout. The den dues go to help the den leaders pay for the materials and supplies needed to run your scouts den. The pack matches the den dues.
Korinne and I will be setup at a table in the hallway to collect them from everyone during the next two den meetings (11/08 and 11/15). If you are meeting elsewhere please make arrangements to drop yours off at ACE. Make checks payable to Pack 1221 and you can write one check for everything.
Returning Scout – $33.00 (Registration Fee) + $1.00 (Accident & Sickness Insurance) + $10.00 den dues = $44.00New Scout – $8.00 (Registration Fee) + $1.00 (Accident & Sickness Insurance) + $10.00 den dues = $19.00

Calendar Change

It was recently brought to our attention that there will now be a school event in the gym on the evening of December 13th, so we have decided to swap our December meetings. December 6th will be a pack meeting and December 13th will be a committee & den meeting. I’ve attached a revised schedule.

Popcorn Sales

Thank you to everyone that has gotten out and sold popcorn and worked behind to scenes to make our sale a success! Be on the lookout for a special email from our Popcorn Kernel Tiara Caudill.

Blue & Gold Banquet

Our Events Chair, April Stauffer is putting together a slide show and needs your photos. They can be from meetings, scout outings, show and sells, camping trips, etc… Please email them to her. She’s also looking for assistance with planning, if you can help that would be great, just let her know.

Veterans Day Parade

The Bluegrass Council is encouraging any scouts that would like to show their appreciation to our veterans by participating in the cities Veterans Day Parade. If you and your scout(s) would like to participate in the parade on Saturday, November 10th, please reply to this email and let me know. They have asked us to register as a unit, so they can get a head count for planning purposes.

Outdoor Subcommittee

Looking for a way to get more involved with our pack? Then I have the job for you! We’re looking for Outdoor Subcommittee members. In this position you would work together to plan our camping trips and other outdoor activities for us to participate in as a pack. If you think this would be something you would be interested in, please let myself, one of the other committee members, or den leaders know.
